Friends in Tremont, As I am sure that most of you are now aware, a house fire claimed the lives of three of our neighbors late last month – Jessie and Jordon Robinson and Luis Rentas.  I’m saddened to report that a fourth passed yesterday – the youngest member of the household, Jessica Rentas.  A viewing for Jessica is scheduled from 12:00pm – 2:00pm on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Bollinger-Bican Funeral Home (9810 Denison , Cleveland Ohio ) – and a funeral service will immediately follow.  More information can be found below:

Our deepest sympathies go out to the family, friends, neighbors of the Matelski, Robinson and Rentas families.

 

In an effort to assist with relocation needs and funeral costs, a Memorial Fund was established at Charter One Bank.  Contributions may be taken to any Charter One Bank Branch and made out to the Memorial Fund for Jessie and Jordon Robinson.

Additionally, tomorrow night we will be hosting our annual Tremont Thanksgiving at OLA St. Joe’s (2346 West 14th) with support from Councilman Joe Cimperman.  If you wish to make contributions towards the Memorial Fund at that time – we will collect them and bring the 43rd/Clark Charter One Branch on your behalf.

 

I would also like to take the opportunity to recognize Scranton Road Bible Church who has been there for both spiritual and physical support for the families.  Pastor Joe has been of great assistance as we work to identify alternate housing for the family.  In addition to those that have lost there loved ones, I’d ask that we also keep Pastor Joe Abraham in our thoughts and prayers – thank you for all you’ve done.
