The Ohio Supreme Court ruled 7-0 today that Cuyahoga County must provide property records on CD for $1 for those who request them and can not charge hundreds of thousands of dollars ($2 a page) like they wanted to, according to Cleveland.comThe property records fiasco in Cuyahoga County — detailed for the health of everyone's funny bone in deposition testimony that featured a debate on the definition of "photocopy," and more extensively in Scene's cover story on the issue — has come to an end.

This case is but one accomplishment against the historical (corrupt) regime that was attempting to milk every ounce of our citizen's lives!

I hope that the Ohio Supreme Court will investigate collusive practice of CDCs and foundations who have now put together a NST (Neighborhood Stabilization Team) property database (like NEO-CANDO) only available to SELECT developers through CDCs-- "proprietary" information only accessible to folks with the access code. 

NST Data  includes "secret" plans for wholesale demo  and TITLE CLEARING of certain areas along the West 25th/Pearl Rd. Corridor (for land holding strategy  of "orchards" $#%!).

On the West Side, Councilman Brian Cummins and former County Treasurer Jim Rokakis showed me more than a dozen abandoned homes within 500 feet of Lincoln West High School. Almost as bad is the neighborhood surrounding the brand-new Jefferson Middle School, about 10 blocks away.

(Wow--clearing land around schools...hmmm that's a familiar strategy....Art House...Garden Ave...John Marshall...)
