Calling potters, painters and creative folks

Use your creativity to craft a bowl and donate it to Rescue Village for Empty Bowls 2009. Colorful, animal-themed designs are always a favorite!

Here’s how to help!

• Potter or pottery student, you can create your bowls in your studio or classroom.
• Creative folks, join Rescue Village volunteers hosting bowl parties to paint pre-made bowls at paint-your-own-pottery studios. Or paint one there at your convenience! Painting a bowl costs $15 and up, depending on the bowl you choose. Please use only non-lead food safe glazes.

You must register for the parties as space is limited. Please call Diane at Rescue Village (440.338.4819, ext.19) to register or to donate bowls from your studio or class.

The deadline for bowl donations is February 6.

Eat hearty and help the animals at Geauga Humane Society’s Rescue Village! 

Come shake off the winter cold with an evening of art,
wine/beer, and sumptuous soup. All this and you’re helping
the animals too!

Pay $65 (Patrons $105) and select your very own hand-decorated bowl. Enjoy all the soup and chili you can eat, donated by some of the area’s finest restaurants. Take part in a silent auction of art, jewelry and sports memorabilia, a live auction of bowls designed by some of your favorite celebrities and a needs auction to further help the animals at Rescue Village.
