I know the feeling, especially from doing business as an entrepreneur and with real estate development. But, finding a good banker and developing a strong bank relationship offers great windows of opportunity. Huntington Bank has been very supportive of the Star Neighborhood Development renovation of 1894 Roxbury, providing financial and banking advice and long-term financing, when completed. And, while becoming excited about our renovation in East Cleveland, Huntington has become interested to do additional business in the Star Neighborhood, of Cleveland and East Cleveland. In support of that mission, this Friday, January 18, 2008, from 10 AM - 12 PM, a private banker and teller from Huntington's Fairmount Circle branch will be at 1894 Roxbury, East Cleveland, to complete applications for anyone who would like to open a Huntington account. They will take the paperwork for everyone back to their branch, process it, and return with accounts and bank cards for everyone with acceptable credit, and they will make personal effort to approve as many applicants as possible. They will provide some general advice on maintaining good banking relations and credit, and they will help anyone with credit problems to get an account within six months. They will also be able to provide information on other Huntington services, like mortgage financing. Huntington offered to provide this drop-in banking service at our renovation site to help the people working on this project to establish better banking relations, and this is open to the public. If you would like to join us, learn more about Huntington bank services, and see how the renovation looks, finally in the finishing stage, please feel free to join us. We will also have information on site about the Star Neighborhood and I will be available to discuss plans for that and the development of a newspaper for the community, the East Cleveland Observer. I hope you may join us.

Drats--I am at work this Friday--all you old house snoops--and you know who you are--here's your chance to see an exquisite old house.
Kudos to Norm and his family for seeing the value of historic preservation and making a commitment to community.
