David and I have been friends for a few decades. He never put much attention to his diet - lots of stuff like ice cream, deli meats, and of course salt.
So when his ankles started to blow up a few weeks ago, I was supportive, but critical too.
He had a series of close calls at the hospital, ICU and all that.
Now he's in re-hab.
I asked him about the 1/2 gallon shots of ice cream.
His answer?
Doesn't really want to give that up.
America.
Dairy!
It's natural...
This is a very complex story. I am not ridiculing David. To the contrary, I am one of his few hospital visitors.
My friend David checked out yesterday... mourning....
I got a telephone call from Bill E. yesterday morning to let me know that our friend David Sherman had died earlier that morning, Sunday February 26, 2017. This will probably be the extent of any obituary.
Read a bit more about David here on an earlier Realneo post.
Condolences Jeff
I know we both share a lot of friendships with folks on the margins - folks who do make a difference - I think of my own daily interaction with someone on the autism spectrum - David Sherman has made difference. So sorry for your loss.
Prayers and thoughts are with you and all who share his loss..
May his legacy live on via your love and everyone's who knew his soul.
Always Appreciative, "ANGELnWard14"
