For many professionals and volunteers at nonprofit organizations in Northeast Ohio, the Human Services Institute is a unique opportunity to learn about issues, trends, and best practices, and to network within their respective fields. It is their day to be educated, united, and inspired! The 67th annual Human Services Institute of The Center for Community Solutions is a day of professional development and networking for people interested in improving Northeast Ohio. It includes 30 sessions and two plenary addresses, exhibits by 100+ community organizations, award presentations, and more. One plenary address is by Robert Bullard, Ph.D., Director of the Environmental Justice Resource Center and Ware Distinguished Professor of Sociology, Clark Atlanta University, on the topic, Growing Smarter: Achieving Livable Communities and Environmental Justice. One of the 30 sessions will help make connections between environmental issues and human services issues:
