So to sum up Slavic Village gets the houses for free, does nothing with them, does not pay the back taxes and now sells them FOR PROFIT. I thought only out of state investors perpetuated this kind of scam.  And they DID cough up some cash for the properties.

What I find most appalling is the PD and other media outlets revelling in his takedown without examining their own role in perpetuating and covering up the corruption in this town. 

PD Editor Elizabeth Sullivan appeared on Ideastream|NPR-controlled Feagler show and demanded a long sentence for Dimora.  At least, Channel 19 recognizes the hypocrisy of the sentencing.

Become a not for profit, 501 (c) (3).....tax exempt entity and the world is yours....as a non governmental, non profit...you get all the waivers, all the exemptions, and all the powers that the government gets...woohoooo and you get millions in grants if you are really awesome!!! woohooo.....plus, you get special treatment by the City Housing Court, the County Auditor & Treasurer, and you get to get these houses donated to you too...woohoo......just figure out how to operate in their way and you'll get all that special treatment as a philanthropic organization....woohooo.........................................(by the way, you may have to take it in the rear during the backroom meetings that bless you with all these spoils, plus you might have to play asslicking politics with some of those city councilman and by the way....sorry Dimora can no longer steer federal HUD Dollars to all those Empowerment, Enterprise, and Brownfield Development Zones...but then again...Jay Westbrook, Sweeney, and all those long time players are experts at all these powerful money laundering games of steering our CDBG and NSP funds into their MASTERPLANNED projects....woohoo...just hang out with them and be their buddies long enough to get some of the big pot divvied your way...woohoo.

Why be a for profit entity in Cleveland????? That makes you a target to the above entities...like CDC's and the Land Bank!!!! Hahaha
